Welcome to my world of real estate, where passion meets experience and dedication. My name is Janie and my husband Ryan and I as well as our 4 kids live just east of Okoboji on an acreage. Ryan tends to our corn and soybean fields while our eldest daughter excels as a sales agronomist, our son joins the family in farming endeavors and our twin daughters are in 3rd grade at Okoboji Elementary.
My journey into real estate is deeply rooted in a lifetime of familiarity with homes and construction, thanks to my father's occupation as a land developer and home builder. Combined with my background in education and years of sales and negotiation experience gained at Procter & Gamble, as well as managing a showroom/gallery for Cambria, I bring a unique blend of skills to the table.

Remington's in Okoboji has great appetizers, salads, sandwiches, steak and much more. Remington's also has daily lunch and dinner specials. Happy Hour Mon - Fri 4pm - 6pm with free popcorn. Saturday is "Game Day" 11am - 4pm with drink and appetizer specials. Lunch and dinner reservations are taken, along with large group reservations with seating up to 150 people. Remington's offers a semi-private dining room that seats 50 people.

Dollars spent with Consumers Lumber stay in Dickinson and Clay counties. They support all the area schools and youth organizations along with several other community charities. Consumers Lumber Company is also very proud of the fact that their 15 employees have over 200 years of combined service to our company and that they all live, shop and play here.
They offer timely and accurate project bids and drawings to better serve the areas builders and homeowners. They also provide free and fast delivery to the four county area.

I've had Janie sell two of my homes now and I've also purchased two homes from her. She truly gets the job done and there is no one else I would want to work with. She worked with us as we had to have our closing date extended. We really appreciated all the time and effort Janie put in to get our new home in Spencer.

She went above and beyond by coordinating with surveyors, City Officials on utilities, and getting HOA documents. We could not have found a better agent to help us find our Okoboji Home!

Helping us through the process made it much less stressful, especially during the negotiation phase.
